Tryout Dates & Date of First Practice

All KCS students in PreK-12th grade may possess wireless communications devices at school, but they must be turned off and stored for the entirety of the school day. Click for more information.

Admission is free for all attendees, with the first 500 attendees receiving a commemorative t-shirt.

Starting Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 8 a.m.

Teachers of the Year include Addison Hale-Benton (Grades Pre-K–4), Heather Bishop (Grades 5–8), and Katie Kimbro (Grades 9–12).

This specialty license plate will be a legal, registered Tennessee specialty license plate that can be renewed each year. This is not a decorative or novelty plate.

Bryan Kerns, Dobyns-Bennett High School Fire Management Services and Mathematics teacher, named the 2024-25 State of Tennessee Teacher of the Year at the TDOE's annual Excellence in Education celebration.

Meghan Carr has been appointed head coach for the Sparkle Squad, effective immediately.
